Why Polymer Clay Basics?
There is "method to the madness". It was promised that you would be provided with all of the basics needed to successfully execute the more advanced designs that are offered in the online store. Familiarity with polymer clay is essential to many of those projects.
I should caution that I am NOT an artist. I have purchased and poured over numerous books on polymer clay artistry that, frankly, are way beyond my "pay grade". In precisely NONE of those books did I find the most simplistic, fantastic use of polymer clay . . . simple, cookie cutter Christmas tree ornaments. It is that use of polymer clay that will aid in your initiation to the craft and will result in amazingly easy-to-make ornaments that can be given as presents, used as gift tags AND (best of all) sold to make a little extra Christmas money. The pictures below illustrate some of the items you will be using to make the ornaments.
